Vitrified Diamond Grinding wheels
All our wheels have a consistent Vitrified Bond with Lubricity induced within the Bond Structure which reduces heat while grinding, which results in lower grinding force, produces superior edge quality, increases stock removal, increases wheel life and reduces dressing. They have a 12mm depth of usable diamond surface. All our Wheels are USA made and most common sizes and Grits are available from stock
Bond Type VIT-1
Characteristics Hardness Index: 55 Concentration: 125 This wheel is recommended for grinding both PCD and PCBN and has been developed for use on CNC PCD grinding machines. But performs equally well on manual machines.
Bond Type VIT-2
Characteristics Hardness Index: 100 Concentration: 150 This wheel is recommended for grinding Carbide and has been developed for use on CNC grinding machines. But performs equally well on manual machines.
Bond Type VIT-3
Characteristics Hardness Index: 125 Concentration: 175This wheel is recommended for grinding high content PCBN and has been developed for use on CNC grinding machines. But performs equally well on manual machines.
Bond Type VIT-4
Characteristics Hardness Index: 150 Concentration: 200This wheel is recommended for grinding high content PCBN and has been developed for use on CNC grinding machines. But performs equally well on manual machines.
